Re: Active Desktop Calendar

Hi Sebastian42, welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with ADC so I'm not sure how to solve the problem you're seeing. That being said, since ADC no longer appears to be supported and isn't working properly for you, now might be the time to consider switching to something else....

Re: Paste to New Event Field

I haven't been able to replicate this behavior. Which field are you attempting to paste into (I don't know what you're referring to by "new event field"). Do you still see the problem after rebooting?

Re: Duplicates remain after running "Remove"

Hi Danny, are the duplicates associated with different calendars? The "Remove Duplicates" command in VueMinder will only remove duplicates within the same calendar. As for why duplicates are getting created in the first place, I'm not sure. I haven't seen that happen in my testing. I'll need to inve...

Re: Open Recurring Event behavior changes

If you click the first occurrence of a recurring series, you'll only see 2 options (this occurrence or the entire series). If you click an occurrence that came after the first occurrence, you'll see 3 options (this occurrence, this occurrence and all that follow, or the entire series). The reason "t...

Re: Open ICS file from Outlook 2019 desktop

VueMinder can be registered as the default program for opening ICS files. VueMinder should show up on the right-click "Open with" menu, so I'm not sure why you're not it. In any case, please try these steps: Right-click an ICS file. Select "Open with -> Choose another app". Click "More apps". Click ...

Re: Various Issues

Hi mnhgolf, thank you for the information. I'll fix the problem with the popup reminder window sometimes not remembering that it was maximized previously. This correction will be in the next version. I'll post a reply when it's ready to download.

Re: Menu bar does not display.

Language files are included with the VueMinder installation. A missing language file (other than English) could result in empty menu options, but you'd also see empty labels in other places. In any case, unless you're doing something weird like intentionally deleting files in the VueMinder installat...

Re: A perhaps final request for help with debugging

Thank you for the update. A bad power supply could cause all kinds of strange issues, but is usually something that's difficult to track down. I'm glad you were able to figure out what was causing the problem.

Re: Various Issues

Hi mnhgolf, in response to your questions: You can save the default snooze length as part of the default reminder settings for the associated calendar. Any new events/reminders associated with that calendar will use the specified default snooze length. Please see the last couple of paragraphs in the...
