Serious (and a bit strange) problem with Gantt Generation
Good morning.
I would like to report a fairly serious problem with PrintableCal.
I need the Gantt generation function, but despite trying several times, and also uninstalling and reinstalling PrintableCal, every time I try to generate a gantt, it is generated only for the interval 25 November 2019 - 28 February 2020.
And this regardless of the dates I selected.
The Gantt function is the one that is most needed, but I just can't understand where the problem may be.
Is there anything to check in the registry? In access permissions to some files?
Please help me.
Thank you.

Have an update on behaviour:
Created a new user in windows.
Logged in as new user.
Started excel
Started trial period on new user (default user has registered and payed account)
Started Gantt creation: worked.
Closed excel
ReStarted Excel
ReStarted Gantt creation: KABOOM! Blocked on previous settings (first run).
So i think it's a permission problem on registry or some locked file.

Hi Giulio, welcome to the forums. I'm working on a correction for the next release, which should be completed within the next day or two. I'll post a reply when it's ready to download.

Re: Serious (and a bit strange) problem with Gantt Generation
Hi.
If it can help, I've found a workaroud:
Everytime I need a Gantt, I delete 2 directories
c:\users\<USERNAME>\appdata\local\assembly\dl3
and
c:\users\<USERNAME>\appdata\Roaming\PrintableCal
I need to do it EVERYTIME.
It works for 1 time, but if I don't delete them, next time I can't change date interval...

Re: Serious (and a bit strange) problem with Gantt Generation
Hi Giulio, PrintableCal version 2020.06 has been released and fixes the problem with the specified date range not being used by the Gantt Chart template. After updating, the workaround you were using should no longer be needed. To update, click the "About" button on the PrintableCal tab of Word or Excel and then click the "Check for Updates" button.
A number of other improvements and corrections have also been completed in PrintableCal 2020.06. The page linked below provides more detail:

Already downloaded.
THANK YOU!
I'm also checking vueMinder software: it's awesome.
I'm verifying some wrong translations in it, and completing missing strings.
Yesterday I just tryed to send you some initial corrections: I'll update you on work progress.
Giulio Marcone.

Hi Giulio, thank you for your assistance with translating VueMinder! If you complete the translation, I'll provide you with a free license of VueMinder Ultimate.
To anyone else interested, you can learn more about the VueMinder translations and the opportunity to get a free license on the page linked below. Any language that is currently less than 90% translated is fair game.
https://www.vueminder.com/Languages.aspx
Also, I'm planning to add translations to a future release of PrintableCal, and I'll provide a similar incentive for translators. More details to come!
