Change Default Description Font

Hi Dan,

I am not sure if this issue just stated with version 2020.06 but I am unable to set the default font in the Description panel of an Event. The font currently defaults to Segoe UI 9 point. I want my font for all new events to default to Arial 12 point Bold. If I change the font manually in a new event, it does not stick for subsequent events. I saw an old post and solution you provided that involved deleting the ProgramSettings.xml file then restarting VueMinder but that has no effect.

How can change the default font for all new events to be Arial 12 point Bold?

Hi Allen, thank you for the feedback. The text editor has been completely rewritten. Unfortunately, the default font mechanism that was used in the old text editor doesn't work in the new one. I'm planning to either add an option to select the default font, or enable editing for the default "Normal" style. I'll post a reply when this improvement is completed.

Hi Allen, I've completed this improvement for version 2020.07. To update, click the "Help -> Check for Updates" menu command.

The default font can be specified by clicking the "Options -> Editors" menu command. Note, this default font will be applied to new items and previously created items that didn't have a font selected while editing.
