Printing options, events, tasks, contacts, notes

Hi Dan,

I would like the ability to print lists in events, tasks, contacts, notes etc based on the filters I select for viewing. Maybe there is a way to do this now but I don't see it when I choose the print option.

Hi GreatLakes, if the Task List has columns filtered, those filters should also be used when printing. For example, I just filtered my task list so all completed tasks are hidden. When I print the "List" layout, I see exactly the same rows listed. The filter icon in the "Status" column on the Print Preview window is even filled in to show that rows are filtered. I'm sorry, but I don't know why you're seeing different behavior.

Thanks. The filtering worked in printing. I just couldn't find it in the documentation. By the way, in task editor there is choice of "in progress" but this option doesn't show up in filtering menu.

The filter drop-down will only show values that are currently in the list. If none of the listed tasks have a status of "In Progress", that would explain why that value doesn't appear in the filter drop-down.
