Is it possible to create task templates?

Hi dorseyuk, you can copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) a task. The pasted task will be a duplicate of the original on whatever date is selected when Paste is commanded. However, if that copied task has subtasks, those subtasks won't get pasted. I have this on my list of planned improvements.

Being able to create a proper reusable template with subtasks etc would be priceless so I really look forward to seeing the development.

Version 2019.02 adds the ability to copy and paste a task and its entire subtask hierarchy (e.g. task template). You can learn more about this improvement here:
