Event colors not working

I have VueMinder Ultimate. I wanted to make my events font smaller, so I went into my calendar properties and changed the font.
I had previously looked at different options in VueMinder, but I don't think I changed anything. All my events are now the default event color.

We have categories and now the category colors do not work for new or existing events. No matter what category color I select, it creates the event in the default event color only.

I found the problem. Color event using in "view" was on 'use calendar colors' instead of 'use event colors'.
