Hi Dan.
I have a Vueminder user who occaisionally looses all his settings.
The only thing he does differently from me is to import an excel spread sheet holiday table several times a week.
Any idea what may be causing the loss of settings?
Cheers
Martin

Re: user looses settings
Hi Martin, can you check if he's running the latest version (2016.10)? There was an improvement to automatically backup the program settings. It's possible updating to the latest version will fix the problem. To update, click the "Help -> Check for Updates" menu command. Please let me know if you're seeing this problem when running the latest version.
Also, is there anything different about where the data folder is stored? The path is specified in the Program Options and defaults to "C:\Documents and Settings\YourLoginName\Local Settings\Application Data\VueSoft\VueMinder" on Windows XP. If the folder location was changed to an external drive or some other location that might not be immediately available when Windows starts, maybe that would explain the problem. Try changing the Program Settings to not automatically start VueMinder when Windows starts, and then manually start VueMinder after the drive containing the data folder has been connected.

Hi Dan,
He was on 2016.07 so I have updated him to 2016.10
Store paths have not been changed from the default.
Let's see how it goes for a few weeks.
Thanks for your help.
