Date header outline
Date header outline
I've customized a month layout and have an area I can't seem to find if I can change the display.
The current day is yellow with a red background. The day's date is just the number with a yellow back ground. I'd like a border between the date area and the events below.
I have current month date areas with a blue/gray gradiant and so it has the date field clearly defined. Same as non-current months what are just two colors of gray.
How can I put a border line under the day's date field?
Thank you.

Re: Date header outline
Hi larryw, open the settings for "ScheduleDayHeader" and select a color in the first "Border" box. Depending on which theme you used as the starting point, you might need to do this for both the Normal state and AlternateItem state. Note, there's no mechanism to only show the border on one edge (bottom). It will be on all 4 edges.
If you are still unable to get the border to appear, please send your current theme file to support@vueminder.com, so I can determine why the border isn't appearing.

Hi larryw, I never received the email. It's not in my spam folder either. Could you try sending from a different email account?

Re: Date header outline
I've just sent from a gmail account with both files zipped into a single file. I hope this one makes it. I've confirmed it's in my Sent file and I haven't received any bounce notices. I sent to support@vueminder.com.

Re: Date header outline
Hi larryw, I received your email. Please try these steps:
1. Click "Tools -> Customize Appearance Theme".
2. Hover the mouse over a date number on the Month view.
3. Press "1" to open the "ScheduleDayHeader" settings.
4. On the "Roles" tab in the Appearance Theme Editor window, expand the "ScheduleDayHeader" node in the tree.
5. Select the "ScheduleCurrentDayHeader" child node in the tree.
6. Change the "Border" values in the "Settings for ScheduleCurrentDayHeader" window. Currently, they are set to transparent in your theme. Select "Default" from the two drop-downs. After doing this, you should see a border line appears, because it's no longer transparent.
7. Save your updated theme.
I hope that helps. Please let me know if these instructions are unclear or if you have any other questions.
