Bulk edit many events

I want to edit several dozen calendar entries by changing them from CalendarA to CalendarB. No other change.
It seems my options are
1. Change each individually (VERY undesirable!)
2. Export, edit and re-import. (Would have to think about avoiding duplicating events. I don't want to end up having 2 copies of each event - one in CalendarA and one in CalendarB. I dont see an export and delete source option. would I have to manually delete all exported events from source CaldendarA?

Is there a more elegant, easier solution?

Hi slouw, you can select multiple events by holding the Ctrl key while clicking each event. After selecting the events, right-click one of the selected events. On the popup menu, pick the desired calendar from the "Assign to Calendar" submenu. All the selected events will be moved to the specified calendar.
