Can USB Edition be reduced to a task bar icon?

Vueminder (non USB edition) if you close the window the application retreats to an icon in the task bar.
In this state it is no longer available via the Alt-tab dialog in windows (This helps me alot)
USB edition does not seem to do that.
I have tried on a Win7 and a Win10 machine.
How do I make this happen?

Hi slouw, in the USB version, click the "Options -> Program" menu command. Uncheck the box labeled "Always show taskbar icon" and check the box labeled "Minimize to task tray when VueMinder is closed". Does that fix it?
