When you have the calander open and click on the minimize button the calander does not show a tab at the bottom of the screen.
It is not shown and you then need to call it up with the hot key or clicking on the icon by the clock.
Can we also have it as a tab on the lower task bar like any other software programe that we use that shows a minimized tab ??

Thank you for the suggestion. VueMinder currently minimizes to the task tray, like many other programs that run at Windows startup (antivirus, utilities, etc). However, I can add an option to override this behavior. I can't promise it will be in the next release, but I'll see what I can do.

Hi did you manage to get this option into this release ? as when i minimize there is no tab shown on the task tray.

This is still on my to-do list. It probably won't make it into the next release because I'm trying to complete it as soon as possible.

In Windows 7, you can customize the toolbar to show the Vueminder icon by changing the setting for Vueminder icon to "Show icons and notifications". You can also pin it to the Taskbar in Windows 7. Problem solved if you have Windows 7.

The Program Options window now has a "Always show taskbar icon, even when minimized" setting. When enabled, the taskbar will always show an icon for VueMinder Calendar.
