SharedCalendars.mdb date modified
SharedCalendars.mdb date modified
I have noticed that the SharedCalendars.mdb file does not update the "Last Modified" date - as seen in Windows Explorer 8. This means that when I use Synctoy to do a file sync to my backup hard drive SyncToy does not recognise that the database has been updated. A manual copy to the backup hard drive is thus required. This is a minor inconvenience, but it would be nice not to have to remember to do it!

Re: SharedCalendars.mdb date modified
Hi gmh, are you using version 8.2? If so, SharedCalendars.mdb is defunct. Calendar sharing is performed through Microsoft SQL Server 2008, which uses a different database. SharedCalendars.mdb can be safely deleted, since it's no longer required.
If you want to backup the SQL Server database, there are some free tools that can do this for you. Note, I've never used these tools, so I can't vouch for them. Here's one:

Hi - Thanks for a very prompt reply. I do indeed use version 8.2. I have downloaded the free SQL backup and restore tool you suggested and have set it up to do regular backups.
Thanks again from a very satisfied customer! gmh
