Can I copy an event to an additional date?
Can I copy an event to an additional date?
If I have a scheduled event today at 10:00 AM, after that event is completed, is there a way to copy the event to a future date and leave the completed event alone, without having to enter the data as a whole new event? If so, how?

Re: Can I copy an event to an additional date?
Hi dr_hersh, you could copy and paste the event. To copy, click the event and press Ctrl+C. Next, click the desired date and press Ctrl+V (you can also use the Edit menu, if you prefer).
If you want the event to automatically generate a new instance when the previous instance is marked as completed, this is not a feature for events. However, tasks can do this. In the Task Editor, check the "Repeat every" box on the Start/Due tab. Tasks can repeat based on original due date or the date of completion.
I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks, Dan. The copying as you described it works perfectly and is exactly what I wanted.
