When creating a recurring event, or editing the entire series of an existing event which recurs, the control that allows the user to specify the starting recurrence # is missing from the display.
Even when the "Show occurrence numbers" or "Show yearly occurrence number" is checked, the starting occurrence number control remains not visible.

Re: Recurrence # control missing using V10.0
Hi Norm, the start occurrence number control will only be visible for yearly events, not the other types. Are you sure it's not visible? I tried on several machines and it was visible on all of them. I also tried with different languages and text scaling sizes. In all cases, the occurrence number appeared for the yearly recurrence.

On my system it is not visible for an event repeating yearly. XP with SP3 and latest maintenance.

Re: Recurrence # control missing using V10.0
Hi Norm, thanks for the information. I'll have this fixed in the next version. I believe the problem is due to user interface scaling (it looks like you're using 150% scaling) and differences between how XP and Windows 7 scale the user interface.
I'll post a reply when a correction is available.

Hi Dan,
Many thanks for the quick reply and diagnosis!
You are absolutely right, I have DPI set to 150% in the Advanced settings for the desktop.

Re: Recurrence # control missing using V10.0
Version 10.0.1 is now available. To update, click the "Check For Updates" command on the Help menu. I tested on an XP computer using 150% font scaling and the start number field appeared, so I think it's fixed now. Please let me know if you update to 10.0.1 but still don't see the field.
